It was fun watching Mark-Paul Gosselaar channel his iconic Zack Morris, but the bit ran on a bit too long, and Fallon proved that he's not ready for this gig. In the end, this clip was chuckle worthy, and I'm glad MPG was a good sport about it all.

My California Love
Still no word from UH, and I'm not really expecting any good news by this point. Hope is not gone just yet because I stumbled across a pretty sweet sounding job at the University of San Francisco. It's an admissions counselor position, so I'm hoping that the combination of orientation and admissions experience will give me a decent shot. If not, oh well.
Right now, the plan continues to be heading back to Texas and going from there. There are a few jobs back home that have piqued my interest, but part of me really feels like some time in California would do some good. That's why I've been focusing on the Bay Area and San Diego for the last couple of weeks. We'll just have to see what happens I suppose.
All I know is my time in Portland is coming to an end, and I think I'm actually going to miss it here. Yeah, I was shocked too!

My Journey Is Complete...Almost
Thursday night I gave my last presentation as a graduate student at Portland State University, and while many people told me that I did a great job, I'm hesitant to be overly eager to celebrate because I know that there's still the tiny chance that I might not pass. I just hate patting myself on the back before I have a reason to.
Now, I'm fairly confident that I will be earning my masters degree in education, and I will have a reason to be excited, but I'm also still trying to figure out what is next.
Six months ago, I wrote an entry about how I had no idea what my future holds, and the same is true today. Usually, I love change and not knowing what's down the road, but for some reason I'm not so carefree, and I just hope that this degree will pay off sooner than later.
All I know for sure is I'll be leaving Oregon before the end of the month. After that, a whole new journey begins.

My 3-Day Rule
I know this is from a while back, but it's one of the funnier moments from this season of How I Met Your Mother. Only Barney could make a joke about Jesus creating the 3-day Rule work. NPH is freaking awesome!
